We created this custom Can-am spyder RS decal kit for our customer Lyn H. Lyn asked us to create a Pink Ribbon Swirl decal kit for her Spyder. She wanted the design to match her helmet but also wanted us to incorporate the breast cancer ribbon within the design without overtaking it. This was a nice size kit but in the end she only decided to apply various pieces of the kit on her Spyder. Our customer Sam put in a special request for us to create a custom design for his girl friend. He requested a Pink & Blue Feather Wing theme but wanted some of the spider theme within the design. This was a bit harder to design because we really didn’t get much more information than that. It is very hard to come up with a theme for a customer when they provide so little detail about what they want. The last thing you want is to spend a number of quality hours on something that you think ia super cool but your customer hates. After a few sample proofs we were on our way to a look and feel for this custom spyder decal project.

Take a look at this Spyder RT of R Ham. He contacted us with a request to make his Spyder RT look like it was on fire with our True FireNatural flame wrap. We created a pre-cut flame kit in this fire pattern for him. To start he just did the front trunk and fenders but after a week of riding and all the positive comments he wanted to take it to the next level. We then produced more pre-cut graphics for the Spyder RT using our precision cut templates which make first time user application very easy. All of our Spyder kits are Pre-cut DIY application for even the most timid installers feel comfortable.

I wanted to be sure to send you another note to say THANK YOU for all of your time and help with creating, cutting, and installing the rally stripes on my Spyder. It looks exactly as I had envisioned and I absolutely love it! Most folks I talked with (including the thread on SpyderLovers.com) suggested leaving the fenders red so that’s what I chose to do. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with the extra material I now have, but I’ll think of something. I have attached a few more pics of the Spyder in the sun as well as a few I took during installation. Because I didn’t install the trunk stripes as one piece and needed to be sure they all lined up, I came up with the idea of using a whiteboard marker to mark the center line on the trunk as well as on the transparent lining of the decal. I simply overlaid the line from the decal onto the one on the trunk and the edges lined up perfectly. I had to cut the 2 lower stripes a little thinner due to the curvature of the rear end, but using the whiteboard marker to mark the edge to line up with the stripe above worked out just as I hoped it would. Once I had it all lined up, I simply took a paper towel and some alcohol and it wiped away cleanly.
