F3 Full Knee Panel Insert Kit

This was a very easy install. All four pieces fitted well. The video instructions were clear and made the process very understandable. The clear version I had was easier than the dry mount, which I used previously.

Super fast shipping. Color, cut, quality, and fit are great, installation was easy. Disappointed that the "direction" of the carbon fiber lines are vertical on one side and horizontal on the other side. I only put on the top panels and yes, I realize you can only see one side at a time but it is noticeable. Would have been great if the cut would have been so that the lines are directional with the lines of the Spyder.

This is an update to my review below. I want to report that the small air bubbles that were trapped under the paint protection film have disappeared. The weather has been exceptionally cold and rainy and I've only ridden the Spyder twice in the last 10 days, so hot weather is not required to drive off the trapped water. I rode with my legs firmly pressing onto the film and it does not scratch! The film is super shinny and clear. You cannot detect the film. I'm exceedingly pleased with this product. I hope Pete offers a kit to protect the saddle bags soon.

I ordered the full knee panel kit in clear paint protection film. The package arrived in 3 days, it was professionally packaged. I watched the installation video twice and proceeded with the installation. It was an enjoyable process and after competition I pushed the Spyder out of the shop into the sunlight. A few small air/water bubbles showed up after the panels became warm in the sun. Most of the bubbles have disappeared after 6 hours, after a few weeks of warm weather the rest of the water will evaporate out of the film.

I'm very pleased with the product and the service was fantastic. Pete gave me a great deal of his time answering my questions. I should mention that Pete sent a bonus strip of the film 4" x 25" in the kit. I fashioned a template as per Pete's suggestion. I used the template to cut two small panels for the aft lower panels on the F3-T where the passengers boots scuff this panel. The film completely repaired the scuffed appearance of the original panels that were damaged by my Cordura nylon riding pants and my wife's boots. The Spyder looks great now and I don't have to worry about damaging the soft BRP plastic. Thanks Pete !
